New Kitten Supply Checklist

So, your new kitten will be coming home with you in a matter of days. It's an exciting time, and it's easy to forget some of the essentials you'll need to make a happy pet a happy home. Here are some of the basic things you will need around the house.

Food and related items:

Dry, semi-moist and/ or canned kitten food
Water bowl
Food bowl
Mat (to protect counter or floor)

Outfitting:

Collar
Identification tags

Grooming Supplies:

Brush
Comb
Nail Clippers

Toys:

Catnip mouse
Balls
Drag Toys

Furnishings:

Scratching post
Cat bed
Washable blankets/ slipcovers

Toiletries:

Cat litter
Litter box(es)
Litter scoop
Mat for under litter box

Cleaning supplies:

White vinegar or commercial pet odour remover
Lint roller (for your clothing and furniture)

Miscellaneous:

Carrying crate
Anti-chew spray for phone/electrical cords
First aid items
