Dr. Jeff Kubinec: Graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, Guelph 1983. Dr. Kubinec started the veterinary practice. His honest, progressive approach to his work and his genuine concern for pets and their owners have made the clinic very successful. Dr. Kubinec has furthered his education by taking additional courses in endoscopy, ultrasound, telemedicine and laser surgery. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, and loves to play hockey, roller blade, coaching baseball and watching the local university hockey team (Thunderwolves) play! His most memorable moment during his career is the opening of the new hospital, as this was his dream. After years of planning the new hospital, the open house held for the grand opening stands out in his mind as one of his most memorable moments. |

Dr. Patricia Alderson: Graduate
of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, Saskatoon, 1995. Dr. Alderson has
worked with the Thunder Bay Veterinary Hospital since 1995. She has taken a special
interest in exotic pets during her career. She is a member of the Avian
Veterinarians Association, as well as a member of the Exotic Mammal Veterinary
Association. Dr. Alderson has recently received a certificate in veterinary
acupuncture. When not practicing medicine on exotics, she also has a passion for
animal dentistries - including cavity fillings and root canals. During our cold
winter months, Dr. Alderson claims that her three cats, "Scarfy",
"Toque" and "Coaty" keep her warm. In her spare time,
she enjoys sewing cute clothing for her two little girls. |

Dr. Judy Miller: Graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, Guelph 1981. Dr. Miller, a doctor with a great sense of humor, who is also empathetic towards her patients enjoys the challenge of furthering her education and is upgrading her equine medicine skills, as well a continuing education in the areas of laser surgery, endoscopy and pursuing a Theology degree. She owns "Swix", a Britnney Spaniel, two horses, "Tester's Brew" and "Hershey Bar Time" and a budgie named "Tye Domi". When not at work, Dr. Miller loves to ski, quilt and spends lots of time with her horses. |

Dr. B. Beveridge: Graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, Guelph 1984 and BSc at Acadian University 1979. She has been working at our hospital since 1995. She has 2 cats, Toko and Sandy who are Siamese crosses and were adopted from Animal Services. She enjoys cross country skiing, running, hiking and spending time with her husband and children. |

Jo-Ann: Graduate of the St. Lawrence College Veterinary Hospital Manager Program. Jo-Ann has been working at the clinic since 1993 and is known for her outgoing and friendly personality. She adds a lot of life to the hospital with her great sense of humor. She enjoys spending time with her husband Brian, her daughter Macy and her dog, Koko, a Terrier cross. |
